What is counselling?
Counselling is a discussion with a trained professional which typically helps people to:

You can choose to end counselling at any time though I will often
recommend a certain number of sessions based on what has been helpful
to others with similar concerns.

Fees and appointments
I am available for appointments on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. I understand
that due to work commitments, some people require after-hours
appointments. As a result, a limited number of after-hours
appointments are available. Please ring to discuss your needs.
Counselling sessions are 50 minutes in duration and attract a fee of $125 during business hours. Appointments after 5pm attract a fee of $140. Fees are due at the completion of each session and you
can pay by cash or cheque. Unfortunately, credit card facilities
are not available at this time.

provides rebates to clients seeing a psychologist in
relation to a recognised psychological condition. The client must
be referred by a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician who must also
review progress after 6 sessions with the psychologist. Medicare
provides a rebate of $84.80 per session for up to 10 sessions per
calendar
year. This means that for eligible clients,
counselling with me equates to $40.20 per session during business hours
